When I started Path of Exile 2, I had no clue how people were making so much currency so fast. Divine Orbs felt like something only streamers or pro players could afford. But with some learning, experimenting, and strategy, I made my first 100 Divine Orbs without spending a dime, and I’m going to share exactly how I did it. Whether you're new or a returning player, this guide can help you earn valuable PoE 2 currency efficiently and safely.
1. League Start Preparation
The best time to make big currency gains is during the first week of a new league. Before the league launched, I planned out a strong build that didn't rely on expensive uniques or gear. I used a popular league starter build (like Toxic Rain or Frost Blades) that could farm quickly and safely. This allowed me to jump into mapping without waiting or dying too often.
I also followed top players and community posts to learn what areas were dropping the most valuable loot. Early on, Chaos Orbs and Exalted Orbs were selling well, so I picked maps and strategies that helped me farm them.
2. Focused Farming Strategy
Instead of running random content, I focused on farming one type of mechanic—Delirium. Delirium maps are chaotic, but the loot explosions are insane. I chose fast layouts like Burial Chambers or Crimson Temple and added Delirium Orbs when I could afford them. I sold most of the loot quickly, turning lesser currency into PoE 2 Divine Orbs via trades.
I also ran Essences and Expeditions regularly. Essences are great because they can be used or sold, and with the right modifiers, you can craft gear to flip for a profit. Expedition, on the other hand, gave me valuable currency shards and unique items that sold for 5–10 Divine Orbs each.
3. Crafting and Flipping Items
Crafting in PoE 2 is way easier than it looks once you learn the basics. I used Essences and low-tier Influenced items to craft gear for leveling builds. These were cheap to make but sold quickly to players who didn’t want to craft themselves. Rings with chaos resistance, life, and elemental resists sold very well, especially during league week one.
I also bought underpriced items listed for cheap—then resold them for market price. That alone got me around 25 Divine Orbs in just a few days.
4. Using Safe and Trusted Trading
While I earned most of my currency in-game, I wanted to try buying some too, just to see the experience. I used U4GM because their service was fast and reliable. If you ever need a little boost, buy PoE 2 currency from trusted sites like U4GM. But always remember to trade safely and never risk your account.
Buying a little PoE 2 currency helped me test new builds faster and helped me understand the market better. When I sold my crafted items after testing, I often made a bigger profit.
5. Trade Management and Price Watching
I installed a trade macro and kept an eye on trending items and price changes. Whenever I saw Divine Orbs rising in value, I held onto them. When other currency like Chaos Orbs dropped in demand, I sold them off quickly. Being aware of the economy helped me grow my stash fast.
In the end, my first 100 Divine Orbs didn’t come from luck—they came from planning, grinding the right content, smart trading, and using resources like U4GM wisely. If you’re willing to put in the time and follow these steps, you can do it too. Remember, success in PoE 2 currency farming is all about focus, strategy, and timing. Whether you want to earn it or buy PoE 2 currency, just be smart and have fun along the way.
